Women’s sports pioneer Billie Jean King is the focus of this week’s episode. Along with her 39 Grand Slam titles, King has founded several women’s sports organizations and had the honor of defeating Bobby Riggs in a “Battle of the Sexes” tennis match. Though that last accomplishment has come under scrutiny recently, it certainly does not diminish King’s contribution to the world of sports.
